Inglesina Electa Stroller Front Wheel Keeps Coming Off After Two Years
A little over two years ago, we purchased an Inglesina Electa stroller. At first, we were very happy with it and even recommended it to my sibling. However, right after the two-year mark, the reclining mechanism on the first seat broke, although we were able to repair it ourselves. A few months later, the front wheel started repeatedly coming off, and we can no longer use the stroller.
The metal rod connecting the front wheel to the stroller is visibly bent. In addition, the black plastic button mechanism inside the white piece that secures the front wheel’s metal rod to the stroller frame has worn out and can no longer keep the front wheel securely in place.
Coincidentally, the exact same problem happened to my sibling just two weeks later. Apparently, these replacement parts are very expensive and difficult to find. You pay a significant amount of money for a stroller because you expect it to last, only for it to become useless after just two years. At this point, I would recommend buying a reasonably priced stroller instead of spending so much on these products—at least if it breaks, you won’t feel as bad about replacing it.
