Hummel Refuses Refund After Shoes Cause Heel Injury


On February 1, 2026, I purchased the Hummel hml Rhome model shoes (code 900774) from the Hummel store at Istanbul StarCity Mall. Just four days after purchasing the product, the shoes began to rub against my feet and caused a serious wound on my heel. Five days later, I returned to the store where I had purchased the shoes to report the issue, and the product was sent for inspection. After the review, I was informed that there was no manufacturing defect, and neither my request for a refund nor my request to exchange the shoes for one size larger was accepted.
At the time of purchase and afterward, I was not informed that the shoe might have a narrow fit or given any guidance regarding sock choice or sizing. I feel that I am being forced to use a product in a way that negatively affects my health. For this reason, I request either an exchange for the same shoe in one size larger or a full refund of the purchase price.

Hummel still hasn't taken responsibility. They haven't even offered an apology, let alone resolve a simple issue. The only thing that sets the Hummel brand apart from its shady competitors is that they open stores in malls.
