Unsolvable Camera Issues on Huawei Y6 2019 and Android Update Concerns

I have been using the Huawei Y6 2019 for approximately three to four years now, and for the past year, both cameras have been experiencing recurring problems. The front and back cameras seem to operate on their own terms, with the front camera rarely functioning, often displaying a black screen. Similarly, the rear camera exhibits the same issue, showing a black screen, and when it does work, attempting to switch to the front camera results in screen freezes or, at times, failure to open the front camera altogether.
