I purchased two Huawei P Smart 2019 smartphones in 2019, and both suddenly stopped working without any drops, damage, impact, or liquid exposure. The first phone was functioning perfectly at night, but by the next morning, it was completely dead and wouldn’t turn on. The second phone failed right in front of me—it was placed on my desk, playing music, when suddenly, the song stopped, and the phone shut down.
Before shutting off, the notification light blinked yellow several times and then turned off completely. The battery was at 40%, and I had never experienced any performance issues prior to this. I tried charging both devices, but neither responded. All my data was lost, and both phones are now completely unusable.
This is clearly a device defect, and I demand an immediate resolution from Huawei. I expect either a full repair or replacement at no cost, as it is unacceptable for two phones to fail the exact same way within such a short period. Huawei must address this issue and take responsibility for the defective hardware.
