Huawei GT3 Pro Smart Watch Broke Down During Swimming
My Huawei GT3 Pro watch broke down while swimming in the sea. It had broken down at sea in the same way before and was replaced with a new one under warranty. Since the device is still under warranty, I went to the Media Markt store where I bought it and explained the situation. They again directed the watch to the service as before. But unlike the previous one, this time they directed it to KVK technical service (an official Huawei-approved service) in Izmir instead of Huawei's own service. A few days later, a report came from KVK technical service stating that the device was out of warranty because it was in contact with water, and the repair cost was 10,700 TL. Now, this watch is already waterproof, and on top of that, it is a watch launched by Huawei as a watch that can also be used for scuba diving. Of course, it will be in contact with water; I bought this watch for this reason. It is like a joke. What kind of technical service is this? They did not even know about the features of the watch, and they did not even bother to research whether it was waterproof or not. When I called KVK service, I could not reach any person. I got an automatic answer on the phone every time, saying "We don't hear your voice, so please call again." Apparently, they do not dare to meet because there are many people with similar problems. I will complain about them to the Consumer Arbitration Committee. However, my request is that I ask Huawei to contact me about this and solve the problem.
