Hotels.com Refuses to Issue an Official Tax Invoice for My $403 Booking
I made a reservation for $403 through Hotels.com for a stay at Eurasia Beach Hotel from August 14–16, 2026. The payment was charged to my credit card, and I received a booking receipt from tr.hotels.com, yet no official tax invoice was ever issued. When I contacted the hotel directly, they informed me that only Hotels.com can issue the official invoice and that the hotel is not authorized to do so.
When I tried reaching out to Hotels.com, I couldn't get through to a single representative—I received no response via email or any other support channel. Withholding an official invoice after taking my payment and issuing a receipt creates serious complications for both my personal financial records and legal tax compliance. Furthermore, this complete lack of communication made me deeply concerned about who I could even turn to if a problem arose during my stay.
I demand that an official tax invoice be issued under my reservation (#72077675811930) using my name and tax details and emailed to me immediately. I also ask that Hotels.com fix its customer support channels so guests are not left stranded without assistance.
