Hotels.com Booked Wrong Date, Won’t Refund My Money

I made a reservation on Hotels.com, but the site mistakenly booked my hotel stay on the wrong date—despite clearly selecting March 5, 2025. I immediately canceled the incorrect reservation as soon as I noticed the error, expecting a swift refund. However, days have passed, and I still haven't received my money back. To my surprise, I received an email today stating that my complaint file (reservation number 72061656030510) has now been closed without resolving the issue!
It's absolutely unacceptable that Hotels.com can make such a mistake, keep my money, and then simply close the case without providing the refund I deserve. Hotels.com, reopen my file immediately, thoroughly investigate my reservation, and refund my money promptly!
The hotel said they would not refund the money. I am a victim and I demand a refund for the reservation I canceled within 1 minute after the wrong booking.
