Hotel Rejects $66 Booking After Hotels.com Customer Support Fails to Help
Yesterday, I paid roughly $66 with my credit card through Hotels.com for a hotel stay starting tomorrow. Even though I received an itinerary number (#72078228020934) after the payment was processed, when I called the hotel, they claimed I gave them an incorrect reservation code and insisted there was no such booking in their system.
My credit card was charged and I have the receipt in hand, yet there is no valid reservation and I have been completely stranded. When I called Hotels.com customer service regarding this issue, they offered no help whatsoever, failed to solve my problem, and provided no clear explanation or resolution. Taking my money without securing a real room and refusing to offer support feels like a total scam.
I demand that Hotels.com take this matter seriously and resolve it immediately—either by ensuring my reservation is fully honored or by issuing an immediate, full refund of my $66 back to my credit card without missing a single cent.
