Damaged Cooker Hood Installed by Hoover Service - Who Will Cover the Costs?

I recently had a Hoover service technician install a cooker hood, but it unexpectedly and loudly crashed onto my glass cooktop. Now I'm wondering who will accept responsibility for the damage done. To make matters worse, it's the weekend, and I can't get in touch with anyone. I'm dissatisfied and worried about the situation. I'd like to know if the damage will be covered and repaired as soon as possible. Furthermore, I was told that the product should be inspected after installation, but this was not done. I've already contacted the service team again because the product isn't working properly, but their initial response was unconvincing. I hope they don't dismiss this as a user error, because the damage was clearly caused by an installation problem. I've attached photos to show the extent of the damage. If anyone has had a similar experience or has advice on how to handle this, please share your thoughts. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.
