Honda CR-V AWD Hybrid Battery And System Issue
I leased a brand new 2026 Honda CR‑V Hybrid AWD from Perry Honda – Bishop Motors in California on March 20, 2026, for a total vehicle price of $39,998. Within only five days of having this vehicle, I experienced two serious safety incidents that have completely undermined my confidence in its safety and reliability. The first incident occurred on March 22, 2026 at around 10:30 p.m. while I was driving on freeway I‑80 with two kids and two adults in the car. I suddenly ended up with two flat tires in the middle of the freeway. This put my entire family in a very dangerous situation at night on a high‑speed road, and it was extremely stressful and frightening to manage. The second incident happened on March 25, 2026 at around 7:00 a.m., when the car suddenly jammed in the middle of the road with a gear and hybrid battery issue. Because of this breakdown, my family of four missed our international flights, causing not only major financial loss but also significant disruption and stress. I have informed Perry Honda – Bishop Motors of these incidents, and they told me they would work with Honda. However, given that these two major issues both occurred within just five days of leasing a new vehicle, they have raised very serious safety concerns for me and my family, and I no longer feel safe driving this car. For these reasons, I am requesting to terminate the lease, return the vehicle to the dealer, and receive a full refund of any amounts I have paid so far, as I do not believe a car with such critical problems so soon after delivery can be trusted for safe family use. I kindly ask that Honda and Perry Honda – Bishop Motors take responsibility for this situation and urgently process the lease cancellation, vehicle return, and full refund of my payments so far, so that this matter can be resolved quickly and fairly.
