Honda Activa 125 Battery Failed at 300KM – Warranty Denied for "Low Usage"
I purchased a Honda Activa 125 in October 2024, and in just four months, the battery has already failed. The scooter has only 300KM on it, and now the starter won’t work at all.
I took it to the authorized service center, where they charged the battery for six hours, but while still at the service center, the battery failed again. The technicians submitted a replacement request under warranty, but Honda’s warranty center refused, claiming the failure was due to low usage and user error.
How does that make sense? If a Honda scooter’s battery dies from minimal use, how is this a premium brand? I could have bought a similar Chinese-made scooter for half the price! Honda, honor your warranty and replace my faulty battery now!
