On the website of the Hint App, I logged in once and paid a single charge of €0.50 for an analysis advertisement. I did not start any membership or subscription, nor did I provide approval or request for any recurring billing. Despite this, I discovered today that charges were made on my card nine times without my knowledge or consent, and I realized that I have been affected by this issue since approximately September.
The charges that appear on my card statement with the description “Hint APP/EU”, charged to the card ending in 2017, are as follows (in Turkish Lira):

In total, 6,839.93 TL was charged from my card without my permission, which is approximately $158 USD in unauthorized charges.
I want to emphasize that I never created any membership or gave consent for recurring payments, yet these charges continued to be made.
I made these charges using a Turkish card denominated in Turkish Lira, and I received no email or SMS notification from the app or company regarding these debits. Even though I just attempted to cancel any subscription again—as I had done before—I still see that the unauthorized charges are continuing.
I have also filed a dispute with my bank regarding these unauthorized transactions and will monitor that process closely.
I demand that all charges totaling 6,839.93 TL taken without my consent be refunded immediately and in full, and that any background memberships or subscriptions apparently filed against my account be completely canceled. I also request that steps be taken to ensure such unauthorized charges do not happen again and that I receive written notification of the outcome of this process.
