I Need Hint America to Refund and Cancel Hidden Subscription

On April 25, 2026, a charge of $29.99 from “Hint America, Inc” with payment identifier C6V5HXWA9 was taken from my Chase Visa debit card without my authorization. I did not subscribe to any service or ongoing plan with this company and therefore consider this to be a fraudulent transaction. Previously, I had only made a single, clearly stated one-time payment of $1.00 via Instagram related to Hint America, Inc. At no point did I agree to a recurring charge, subscription, or any additional fee beyond that one-time $1.00 transaction. Turning that into a $29.99 charge is misleading and unauthorized. I have reported this payment to Chase Bank, and they are currently investigating it as a fraudulent charge. However, I am also reaching out directly to request that Hint America, Inc immediately refund the full amount of $29.99 and ensure that no further charges are made to my card under any circumstances. I expect written confirmation that the $29.99 has been fully refunded and that any possible subscription or automatic billing associated with my details has been completely cancelled.
