I am writing to report unauthorized charge attempts made by a company called “Hint America Inc.” on my Cash App card, even though I have never purchased anything from them or subscribed to any of their services. The only interaction I have ever had was viewing a “soulmate sketch” related content on Facebook; I did not enter into any subscription or authorize any payments. This month, there were two separate attempts to charge my Cash App card in the amount of $29.99 each time. Both attempts were declined only because there was not enough money on the card, otherwise these unauthorized charges might have gone through. I have checked my accounts and records and confirmed that I do not have, and never had, any subscription or agreement with Hint America Inc. After noticing these attempts, I contacted Cash App and blocked the merchant on my side to prevent further charges. However, I am very concerned about how my card information was used without my consent and why these charge attempts were made in the first place. I request that all current and future charge attempts by Hint America Inc. to my card be stopped completely and that a full investigation be carried out into how my card details were obtained and used without authorization. I also ask for written confirmation that there is no active subscription in my name, that I will not be charged now or in the future, and that any data related to my payment method that was stored without my consent be removed from your systems.
