Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Refuses Food Allergy Accommodation One Day Before Prom

I registered to attend our school prom held at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center, and we paid a total of $238. Even though our school specifically informed the hotel during the process that I have a potato allergy, I was told by the hotel just one day before my prom that they could not accommodate me in any way.

On June 26, 2026, just one day before our prom scheduled for June 27, 2026, our school principal contacted hotel officials regarding my allergy, but the hotel stated that no solution could be provided. This situation not only poses a health risk but also leaves us at a loss after making all our preparations and full payment.

I demand that reasonable solutions, such as alternative menus or ingredient substitutions, be offered for guests with allergies, and that sensitive matters like this be approached with far greater care and attention. I request that this grievance be taken into account, necessary improvements be made, and proper precautions be taken at your hotel to prevent similar situations from recurring.
