Happn User Blackmailed Me with My Family’s Private Information

On February 27, 2025, I had a conversation with someone on the Happn social media app. This person later asked for my phone number to continue talking via live chat. Shortly after, they began blackmailing me, demanding money while sending me detailed personal information about my entire family—including my parents and paternal relatives (full names, phone numbers, addresses, and even national ID numbers).
I have no idea how they accessed such sensitive information. How could someone get my entire family’s details just from my phone number? This is deeply concerning, and Happn must take immediate action to address this security issue.
I publicly declare that I am not responsible for any illegal or unauthorized activity that might occur using my phone number or Happn account. I hold no responsibility for any messages, calls, financial transactions, images, videos, voice recordings, threats, defamatory remarks, or any form of illegal or suspicious activity linked to my identity.
I also want to emphasize that I am not accountable for any misuse of my or anyone else’s profile photo, fake accounts created with my phone number, or any incidents resulting from identity theft. Additionally, because my family’s private information has been compromised, I state that they bear no responsibility for any related incidents.
I demand that Happn investigate this matter immediately, ensure the security of user data, and take legal action against individuals using the platform for blackmail and fraud. This is a serious issue, and I expect a swift resolution!
