If Google Drive still says you don't have enough space after deleting files, empty your Google Drive Trash first. Deleted files stay in the Trash and use up space until you get rid of them totally. To make room, go to Drive > Trash and choose Empty Trash.
Next, check the space you have for Google Photos and Gmail. These use the same space as Google Drive. Large attachments in Gmail or pictures in Google pictures that are the originals can quickly take up space. Look for emails with attachments that are bigger than 10M in Gmail and delete them.
Go to [one.google.com/storage](https://one.google.com/storage) to get a full picture of your Google account's storage space usage and see which files or apps are taking up the most room. This will help you find and delete things that you no longer need.
