I have been using an individual Copilot subscription for about two months. My goal was to use Copilot—especially the Claude Opus 4.5 model—for software development. However, in almost every attempt, I encountered non-working and faulty code that consumed my tokens without producing usable results.
For example, in one instance, the model generated output claiming the code would run successfully, but when I tested it, I received errors. Even though I specifically selected the Claude Opus 4.5 model, it repeatedly produced broken or untested code. As a result, my tokens were wasted unnecessarily. Despite trying multiple times, I was unable to obtain properly functioning code and received no real value from the subscription.
I attempted to contact GitHub or Copilot support but could not find an effective communication channel. Even if I had reached them, based on my overall experience, I doubt the outcome would have been different. Ultimately, although I paid approximately $20 through my bank for this service, I did not receive a properly functioning product in return.
For this reason, I request a refund of the fee I paid for my Copilot individual subscription. Additionally, to compensate for the inconvenience and lost productivity I experienced, I request one year of unlimited access to all coding agents at no additional cost.
