GetYourGuide Lumora Tour Never Happened After We Paid in Full

Attention to tourists traveling from Turkey! We booked an Ohrid tour departing from Skopje through GetYourGuide from a tour company called Lumora, with a guide named St*eff. Although the tour was scheduled to start at 7:30 AM, we were already waiting at the designated meeting point at 7:00 AM. Despite this, the tour never took place. There was no one responsible for the tour at the meeting point, and we were left waiting for hours without any explanation.

For the tour scheduled for September 25, we paid the full amount in advance at a rate of $64 per person. We were given several different phone numbers to contact about the issue, but we could not reach an actual representative through any of them. No one provided any assistance, and we did not even receive a response to our messages. We lost both our money and our time, and the hours we spent waiting completely disrupted our entire travel itinerary.

Throughout this experience, we feel completely deceived and let down. I find it extremely concerning that a tour company that does not communicate with customers, leaves them stranded, and takes no responsibility is allowed to operate on GetYourGuide. To prevent other people from experiencing the same problem, I strongly advise against choosing this tour or this company.

I request an immediate full refund of the total amount we paid for the tour that was canceled without being provided, with no deductions whatsoever. I also request that GetYourGuide investigate Lumora and the tour in question, take the necessary measures to prevent similar customer complaints from occurring again, and, if necessary, remove this tour from the platform.
