Gemini AI Gave Wrong Directions Five Times in a Row for M12 Metro Route

May 25 5:53 PM

On 05/25/2026, at around 5:00 p.m., while using the Gemini app, I received seriously incorrect directions from the AI during a conversation. I've been dealing with the same problem for about 20 minutes now. I asked how I could get to a specific location using the upcoming M12 metro line along with bus transfers, but the system gave me wrong information five times in a row. Each time, it said it would "correct itself" and "use up-to-date data," yet it either gave wrong or incomplete information, or mixed up the details and presented unreliable results. This whole process wasted a serious amount of my time, and if I hadn't double-checked things myself, I could have ended up with a planning mistake that would've cost me at least two hours down the line. Getting misdirected this many times on something like transportation, where accurate, reliable information is essential, has seriously shaken my trust in the app. Regarding this situation, I'm first requesting a clear, direct apology be sent to me. After that, I want your systems' access to up-to-date data and verification processes to be improved. I want to make sure the most current data is checked before any answer is given, and that the necessary technical fixes are made in this regard. I'm also requesting, as a gesture to make up for what I went through, that I be given free access to one of Gemini's paid tiers for at least one month. To support my complaint, I'm planning to attach screenshots of the relevant conversation as well.
