Franke Dishwasher FDWS 614 DA++ XS Has Ongoing Rust Mold and Indicator Issues
We purchased a Franke appliance set in 2018 and have generally been satisfied with the products. However, we have been experiencing ongoing issues with our FDWS 614 DA++ XS model dishwasher for quite some time. • Rust and mold have formed on the racks, which raises concerns regarding hygiene and usability. • The salt indicator light remains on constantly, even after refilling. Despite calling for service previously, this issue has not been resolved permanently. Given our trust in the Franke brand and its reputation for quality, we did not expect to encounter such issues. We are confident in Franke’s commitment to customer satisfaction and believe this issue will be addressed promptly and positively. Following my complaint, the company responded quickly and dispatched the service free of charge. The service conducted the necessary inspections and left. Subsequently, a price of around 9,000 TL was quoted for the replacement of the baskets and salt compartment, and a significant discount off the list price was offered for the purchase of a new machine. I had to order the same product online at a slightly lower price than the discounted price offered for the new machine. This was because the service stated that the discounted price would be valid if they took my old product. Consequently, I ended up purchasing a new machine for slightly less than the offered price, and my old device, which had no issues other than the baskets and salt compartment, remained with me. As a result, Franke proved that they stand behind their product despite everything. Ultimately, we will continue to use the Franke brand.
