Franke Dishwasher Baskets Rusted and Contaminated My Dishes After Warranty Expired

Three years ago, I purchased all my kitchen built-in appliances (oven, microwave, stove, hood, dishwasher, and even the kitchen sink set) from Franke, trusting the name of such a large company. However, I have encountered a rust issue with my Franke FDW 612 E6P A++ fully integrated dishwasher, especially with the upper basket. The coating on the wires of the basket has worn off, and the exposed metal parts have rusted due to contact with water. As we continuously use it, the rust on the wires has contaminated our dishes and glasses, putting our health at risk. There are significant rust spots on the upper basket and some areas on the lower basket as well. Since my warranty period has expired, I was told that I would have to purchase new parts. They stated that this is not covered under warranty, and I was quoted around ₺2500 for each basket separately. Additionally, there are deformities on the side walls of the machine. The service technician also confirmed these issues. Now I ask, did we make a mistake by trusting the Franke brand and purchasing all our kitchen products from them? Unfortunately, yes, we did.
