Fortnite Ranked Points System Seems Inconsistent
I play Fortnite on PlayStation, and I believe the ranking points system I have experienced in Ranked matches during Chapter 7 Season 4 is unfair.
On September 2, 2026, I played a Ranked match where my friend was in Platinum and earned 6 eliminations, yet he gained +48 points. I was in Silver II and earned 8 eliminations, but I received only +21 points.
In the same match, despite being in a lower rank and getting more eliminations, I received less than half the points my friend earned. To me, this suggests that there may be an imbalance in how Ranked points are calculated. This situation negatively affects my motivation and makes me feel that the effort I put into my matches is not being properly reflected in my progress.
I request that Epic review how the Ranked points system is calculated, particularly when players in different ranks participate in the same match. I also request that the way these points are determined be explained more transparently to players and that the system be properly balanced so that similar situations can be avoided.
