I Returned a Forever 21 Dress but They Lost It and Still Haven’t Issued My Refund
On 06/05/2025, I ordered two identical dresses in different sizes (XS and S) from Forever 21’s official website. Since the size S fit me, I initiated a return for the XS dress. Due to the Eid holiday, I created the return request on 06/19/2025. When I went to ship it using the provided return code, the courier company told me they couldn’t process it without Forever 21’s corporate code.
I contacted Forever 21 customer service on 06/20/2025 and got the code. The next day, 06/21/2025, I packaged the item, handed it to the courier, and photographed the return label as instructed. According to both the tracking slip and courier records, the item was delivered to Forever 21 on 06/23/2025.
Their website states that refunds are processed within 5 business days. However, by 06/27/2025, I had received no update. I contacted customer service and was told the accounting department would follow up—no one ever did. On 07/03/2025, I called again and was shocked to hear that my return was marked as “lost,” even though delivery confirmation proves otherwise.
Today marks the 11th business day since delivery, and I still haven’t received my refund. This delay is not my fault. The item was returned properly, and the courier confirmed delivery. Any issue between the courier and Forever 21 is not my responsibility.
On 07/07/2025, I informed customer service that I would pursue legal action. They even said they couldn’t provide an email address for formal complaints. I am beyond frustrated and demand my refund immediately. Forever 21 must take full responsibility, stop ignoring customers, and resolve this issue without further delay.
