I Request a Full Refund for My Canceled Flydubai Booking

I am writing to express my objection to the excessive cancellation deduction applied to my Dubai travel booking purchased through Ucuzabilet.com.

For our planned Dubai trip, departing on March 15 and returning on March 21, I purchased economy-class airline tickets through Ucuzabilet.com for two adults and one 10-year-old child on Flydubai. The total amount paid for the booking was ₺65,000.

Due to the ongoing conflict, instability, and uncertainty in the Middle East region, we no longer considered this trip safe for our family and therefore decided to cancel our travel plans. We clearly communicated these concerns and our cancellation request to Ucuzabilet.com.

However, I was informed that a deduction of ₺23,359 would be applied and that only ₺41,819 would be refunded from the total amount paid. I find this deduction excessive and unreasonable given the extraordinary circumstances that influenced our decision.

It is important to note that, as part of the same trip, we had also booked our Dubai hotel through Etstur. That reservation was canceled without issue, and the entire amount was refunded to us in full without any deductions. I would like to acknowledge that Etstur handled the situation fairly and professionally.

In a period where even governments and international authorities are unable to provide clear predictions regarding the course of regional conflicts and security risks, travelers should not be penalized for making responsible decisions to protect themselves and their families.

My booking reference number is AREDB1, and the entire payment was made using a single credit card.

I respectfully request that Ucuzabilet.com review my case, take into account the exceptional circumstances surrounding the cancellation, and process a full refund of the ₺65,000 paid for this booking without applying the proposed deduction of ₺23,359.

I also request a written explanation regarding the basis for this deduction and a fair resolution that reflects the extraordinary conditions affecting travel in the region.
