Horrible Service And No Refund From Flibco




I am writing regarding my recent experience with the Flibco shuttle bus service from Redbridge, London to Stansted Airport on 27/05/2026. I had a valid ticket for the shuttle scheduled to arrive at 2:55 pm, but the bus was delayed and only arrived at 3:30 pm. When it finally arrived, the driver informed me that the bus was full and refused to let me board, despite the fact that I had a pre-booked ticket. Because of this, I was unable to use the £29 ticket I had paid for and was forced to book a last-minute taxi to the airport in order not to risk missing my flight, which cost me an additional £58. Afterwards, I contacted Flibco customer service to request a refund, but my request was refused. I was told that I should have waited for the next bus and hoped that it would not be full, even if that meant potentially missing my flight, which I find unacceptable given that I had booked a specific time and the delay and lack of available seats were not my fault. In light of these circumstances, I request either a full reimbursement of the shuttle ticket or reimbursement of the taxi cost I had to pay due to the delay and the bus being full. I believe this is a fair solution, as I did everything correctly as a customer and was still unable to use the service I had paid for.
