Fissler Vitavit Premium Rusted and Discolored After First Use
On October 29, 2025, I purchased a Fissler Vitavit Premium pressure cooker from the Enplus Istanbul Akbatı store for $1. After my very first use, I noticed serious dark discoloration on both the exterior surface of the pot and the inside of the lid. In addition, rust began forming on the inner part of the lid. The product also does not deliver the fast cooking performance that was promised at the time of sale.
Immediately after the first use, I returned to the store. However, the store employees refused to take responsibility and responded indifferently, saying, “We only sell the product. Tefal imports it into Turkey. You need to call customer service yourself.” When I contacted customer service, I was simply advised to wash the product with a spray stainless steel cleaner—an overly simplistic suggestion that does not address or resolve the issue.
I purchased this product believing it to be high quality. However, due to the discoloration, rusting, and failure to deliver the promised fast cooking performance, I have experienced significant disappointment and inconvenience. I consider this product to be defective and request that my Fissler Vitavit Premium pressure cooker be replaced with a new one.
I have learned that the product is imported into Turkey by Gallery Crystal. I request that both this company and Fissler’s headquarters in Germany treat this matter seriously and resolve my complaint promptly.
I experienced discoloration and rust on the product during the first use, took it to the store but they took no responsibility. Customer service only suggested cleaning. The service called me, I sent the product and they promised a response within 20 business days. Right now I'm in another waiting and uncertainty phase, and a product replacement or refund would make me happy.
