Finda.net Made Unauthorized Charge And Subscription I Never Approved
I am submitting this complaint regarding an unauthorized subscription and payment related to Finda.net that appeared on my Absa card. On 06 December 2025 at approximately 07:45 I received an SMS from Absa Bank stating that an amount of R750 ZAR had been reserved by Finda.net on my card ending with 4526. I did not knowingly authorize or agree to any paid subscription for this service, and from my perspective this charge is fraudulent. My only interaction with Finda.net was that I clicked a link related to them the day before, but I do not remember subscribing to any paid service or giving consent for a R750 charge. When I received the SMS from Absa at around 07:45 I was extremely surprised and immediately took action. I tried to cancel any possible subscription, cancelled my credit card with the bank for security reasons, and reported the transaction as fraud on the same day. I have not been able to contact Finda.net directly because I do not have their email address or phone number, so I am raising this complaint formally. I urgently request a full refund of the R750 ZAR that was reserved or charged by Finda.net and written confirmation that any subscription or recurring payment linked to my details and to the number 0683384448 has been fully cancelled so that no further amounts can be taken from my account. I also request that this matter be investigated, including how my card details were used for this subscription without my clear consent. I expect a prompt response and resolution, as this situation has caused me serious concern about the security of my personal and financial information.
