FamPay ShareChat Payment Unauthorized Refund Request
On 10 September 2026 at around 3:00 a.m., ₹699 was deducted from my Fampay account for a payment to ShareChat without my clear consent or prior information. I was not properly informed that such a direct payment could be taken, and I was not aware that this amount would be charged. The transaction for ₹699 appears in my Fampay statement as a payment to ShareChat with the transaction ID FMPIB6569123248. I did not knowingly approve this charge and I consider this deduction unauthorised. This situation has caused financial difficulty for me and my family, especially because I am a student and I only receive a limited amount of money from home for my basic needs. So far I have not received any satisfactory help or explanation from ShareChat regarding this deduction, and I am very dissatisfied with the quality of service I have received in this process. I also believe that the way this payment was taken is unfair to users and may mislead the public. I find it completely wrong and unacceptable that money can be deducted from users in this way without clear and prior permission. In my view, ShareChat should first clearly inform users and obtain explicit approval before taking any payment, instead of cutting money suddenly and without warning. I do not accept that money can be taken from my account in this manner when I was not properly told about it. I clearly request that my ₹699 be refunded immediately, without any delay, and I ask ShareChat to urgently process this refund and inform me in writing as soon as it is completed. If this issue is not resolved and my money is not refunded, I am prepared to file a formal complaint with the police and the relevant authorities.
