eSIM.io Canceled My Unlimited Japan Plan After One Day
I purchased a 10-day unlimited Japan data package through eSIM.io. I started using the service on the morning of August 29, but later that same evening, before even one full day had passed, my package was canceled. Because my phone ran out of battery while I was abroad due to an emergency, I had to activate my line on another phone. After doing so, my unlimited package was canceled and I was also charged a device change fee.
For the past two days, I have been abroad waiting for important news, and I have been seriously inconvenienced because my service was canceled. I chose eSIM.io even though its packages are more expensive than those offered by other companies because I expected a higher-quality service. Despite the company's extensive influencer advertising, I feel that the service I received did not live up to those claims. I would have expected the company to focus on providing reliable service rather than spending so much on advertising.
I do not accept having an unlimited package canceled after such a short period, especially when I had to change devices due to an emergency, and then being charged an additional fee on top of that. I request a refund of the package fee and the device change fee, that my line be reactivated under the conditions I originally purchased, and that I receive a clear written explanation of what happened. I do not intend to use this company again and would not recommend it to people I know.
