Unauthorized ESIM.io Transactions Made Without My Consent
On my eSIM.io account, two unauthorized transactions occurred on 3 September 2026. First, €50 was added to my account balance, and then this balance was used to purchase a 20‑day Unlimited Data eSIM package for Japan. I did not knowingly request or authorize either the €50 top‑up or the purchase of the Japan package, and I do not accept these transactions. My account transaction history also clearly shows the top‑up and plan purchase dated 3 September 2026. After noticing these charges, I contacted eSIM.io customer service via WhatsApp. I was informed that the purchase had allegedly been made by me and that, due to the nature of the plan, cancellation or refund would not be possible. Despite my efforts to explain that I had not authorized these transactions, no solution was provided. I have not installed, activated, or used the Japan eSIM in any way. In the application, the option still appears as “Add eSIM,” which shows that the line has not been activated on my device. In eSIM.io’s own Purchase, Cancellation and Refund Policy, it is clearly stated that “You may cancel Your purchase … anytime prior to activation.” In other words, the company’s own policy allows a purchase to be cancelled before activation. Despite this, my refund request for an eSIM that has not been activated or used is being rejected. I request that eSIM.io clearly explain when, how, and by which authorization method the €50 top‑up and the Japan 20‑day Unlimited Data eSIM package purchase were carried out. If the company claims that the eSIM has been activated or provisioned in any way, I request that the corresponding activation and provisioning records be shared. As a result, I request the cancellation of the €50 top‑up and the Japan eSIM package and a full refund of the total amount to my original payment method.
