Enza Charged Me for a Broken Handle on My Cante Bed Base

Hello, We purchased a Cante Bed Base and Headboard set from an Enza Home dealer in Ankara for my daughter, who is getting married. After the product was delivered, as we were lifting the base for the very first time to place items inside, one of the two fabric handles ripped off. My daughter was very upset, as it was a brand-new product. I tried to repair it myself. Today, I called Enza customer service and explained the situation. I was so confident that it wouldn't be a problem. I naively said, "Just send me the part, and I'll attach it myself." The response I received was absolutely ridiculous. They told me they would have to direct me to their service department and that I would have to pay a ₺1250 service fee plus the cost of the part. This was apparently being classified as "user error," as if it couldn't possibly be a manufacturing defect. I said, "Of course, you can keep your part," and ended the call. So, a piece of advice: when you buy a bed base from Enza, make sure you also have a strong upholstery needle and durable thread. If a handle breaks, you'll either have to sew it yourself or pay around ₺2000. I truly dislike making these kinds of complaints, but they leave me no choice. Enza, you shouldn't frustrate and victimize your customers over such simple matters.
