I purchased an Electrolux dryer from Media Markt on Monday and specified that it would be placed on top of my Arçelik washing machine. The store staff informed me that I would need an additional stacking kit, which I ordered along with the dryer. The dryer was delivered on Wednesday as promised, but it’s still sitting in its box because no one has come to install it.
I immediately contacted Electrolux for installation, and they assured me someone would come within 24-48 hours. However, 48 hours have now passed, and no one has arrived. I purchased this dryer in-store rather than online to avoid delays, but here I am, four days later, staring at an unopened box.
I suffer from allergic rhinitis, and this dryer is essential for me. I recently moved and have a large amount of laundry, curtains, and clothes piling up with no space to air-dry them. As a healthcare worker, I change uniforms daily, and I now have five dirty sets waiting to be washed. This delay is unacceptable, and the customer service I’ve received has been appalling.
When I called, Media Markt blamed Electrolux, and Electrolux suggested I use the dryer without the stacking kit. This response is completely unprofessional. I paid a significant amount for both the dryer and the stacking kit, and this experience has been nothing but frustrating.
I demand immediate installation or a full refund. This level of service is unacceptable, and I will never recommend Electrolux to anyone.
