eDreams Overcharged My Card $168 After Skyscanner Displayed $124 Fare

1

On August 11, while searching for flight tickets on Skyscanner, I was redirected to eDreams. The total ticket price displayed on the eDreams website was $124, which I approved before completing the payment process.

However, after the transaction, I checked my credit card activity and discovered that $168 was charged to my card instead of $124. In other words, I was overcharged by roughly $41 beyond the total amount I authorized. To make matters worse, the amount billed was even higher than the original price listed on eDreams' own website.

I tried contacting eDreams by phone, but I could not find a working customer service number or call center, leaving me with no way to report the issue directly. Being redirected from Skyscanner only to be charged a different, higher price—along with eDreams' completely non-transparent overcharging—has caused me significant frustration.

I demand a full refund of the extra amount charged beyond the approved $124 total, along with a formal written explanation regarding this transaction.
