I Paid for a Samsung S23 Ultra on eBay But Received an Empty Box
I’m from Azerbaijan and frequently shop on eBay using shipping companies that forward orders from the U.S. to my country. Recently, I purchased a Samsung S23 Ultra on eBay for $682 (₺22,000+). Everything seemed normal—until the shipping company called me and said the package addressed to me arrived completely empty. The seller sent me a box with nothing inside.
Immediately, I tried to contact the seller and file a report, but eBay suspended my account without warning. Now I can't message the seller or submit a claim—every attempt triggers an error. I have video and photo evidence from the moment the box was opened. After seeing the seller’s profile, I discovered others also received empty packages from this person—some dating back a month, others 6 months. This is clearly a pattern of fraud.
I tried to cancel the order once I saw those reviews, but the seller rejected my cancellation and quickly shipped out the empty package instead. I’m horrified. I even got a U.S. phone number and wrote to eBay’s assistant asking them to call me. I speak English and waited for hours, but no one ever called.
Right now, I’m full of anxiety and frustration. I trusted eBay, but I’m being ignored and robbed. I’m begging eBay to review my case, restore my account so I can file the claim properly, and take action against this seller who is clearly scamming multiple buyers. This is not the eBay experience I expected.
