Dyson V8 Absolute Motor Failure Right After Warranty Expired and High Repair Cost

In April 2023, I purchased a Dyson V8 Absolute vacuum cleaner for ₺8,500 using my credit card. The device worked fine during the warranty period, but just after the warranty expired at the end of April 2025, the motor began to fail about six days ago.
The vacuum is fully charged, and the lights turn on, but the device does not run and the attachments do not rotate. Previously, my Motorbar head had broken, and since the warranty had just expired at that time, Dyson sent me a replacement head free of charge as a one-time courtesy.
For the motor issue, I contacted Dyson Turkey customer service. During a video call, they confirmed it was a motor failure and quoted ₺4,500 for repair. I also requested a replacement option where I could return my V8 and pay the difference for a new model, but this was rejected.
I did not purchase any extended warranty or special campaigns when I bought the product. In the past, the device occasionally had similar issues that I could temporarily fix by adjusting the filter, but this time it completely stopped working.
I had recommended Dyson to my friends and family because I trusted the brand, but facing such a high repair fee so soon after the warranty ended has been very disappointing. I am requesting a discounted replacement or a more reasonable repair solution. I expect Dyson to demonstrate that it values customer satisfaction and stands behind its products.
