I purchased a Dyson V15, and just over a year later, it started malfunctioning. The device wasn’t working properly, so I bought an original filter from Dyson’s website, thinking the issue was with the filter. After replacing it, the vacuum began overheating and lost suction power.
I contacted customer service and sent the vacuum to service with both the old and new filters. After the repair, the same error appeared again. When I called back, the brush head started making a loud noise, but during a video call, the support team claimed they couldn’t hear it. Within a week, the brush head stopped working entirely. When I called again, they told me they would send a new one, but then said it was out of stock and that I should just use the laser head instead. Now, the laser head is also making noise, and when I called, they simply responded, "Why are you using it on carpets?"
On top of all this, the dustbin won’t close properly, and they don’t even acknowledge the issue. When I tried explaining that I can clearly hear a difference in the noise, the representative dismissed me, saying, "You may be using it, but we diagnose the problems." Instead of helping, they tried selling me a maintenance package while my vacuum barely works!
The battery now dies before I even finish cleaning one room, and Dyson’s so-called quality and customer service have been nothing but a disappointment. For the huge price I paid, I expected a durable vacuum—not one that barely lasts a year. Dyson, fix this now or replace my device! It’s absolutely not worth the price!
