Dyson V12 Vacuum Shows Filter And Airway Blocked Errors Despite Warranty
On December 18, 2023, I purchased a Dyson V12 vacuum cleaner through Hepsiburada with full upfront payment. For the past two months, the device has been malfunctioning. After vacuuming just 2–3 rooms, it repeatedly shows a “clean filter” warning. Even after thoroughly cleaning the filter, the warning does not go away. Shortly afterward, the vacuum also started displaying an “airways blocked” error, and now it no longer works at all.
Although my product is still under warranty, Dyson customer service told me that I would need to purchase a new filter for ₺1,500. I find this unacceptable, as the vacuum is not even a year old, and the warranty should cover such issues. Furthermore, no alternative solution or support was offered by customer service.
I have already tried the vacuum on different sockets and in different rooms, and I carefully followed all troubleshooting steps provided by Dyson, but the issue remains unresolved.
I live in Sakarya, and my order number is 8CX-EU-THA1972A. Since my warranty is still valid, I demand that my vacuum be repaired free of charge or that the necessary replacement part be provided without cost. I urgently request a resolution to this problem.
