Dyson V12 Slim Detect After-sales Service Failure

On November 26, 2021, I purchased a Dyson wireless electric vacuum online, and the carpet head attachment became damaged. On June 19, 2023, I contacted Dyson Customer Service, and they confirmed during a video call that the vacuum was operational, but the attachment was defective. They assured me that a replacement carpet head would be sent as part of the warranty. When the new head arrived, however, it did not fit the vacuum because they sent a replacement instead of the original. They claimed that the system automatically sent the substitute part, despite the fact that it was not a true match, after multiple calls, returns, and more incorrect deliveries. They had no idea when the correct part would be available. When I returned the vacuum for repair, they abruptly closed the service case, citing a broken handle and charging me for repairs. We're at a loss for words because the vacuum was in perfect working order when we shipped it. Our annoyance is at an all-time high.
