Dyson V12 Suction Power Dropped After a Year

I bought a Dyson V12 Upright Vacuum Cleaner 1.3 years ago. It performed very well for the first six months—it was so powerful that it almost lifted the carpet while vacuuming. After that, the performance became average, and now it has dropped significantly. I’ve called Dyson customer service twice about this issue. The first time, they asked me to clean some parts and do a video call where I spilled tea on the floor and vacuumed it. They claimed the suction was fine and said there was nothing to be done. I washed the filter again and cleaned all the attachments, but the performance remained poor. I called again today and had another video call. We removed the filter, and they told me to lightly tap some of the plastic parts. A small amount of dust fell out, yet they insisted there was no problem. They won’t let me send the device in for service—I can’t get past the customer representative stage. I’m certain that if it reached the service center, the issue would be confirmed. I also have two friends using the same model, and they are experiencing the same problem. Perhaps this model has a design flaw. Just because a vacuum can pick up spilled tea doesn’t mean it’s performing well overall. That’s not the only benchmark for choosing a vacuum cleaner. I paid ₺23,000 for this vacuum 1.3 years ago, and I no longer think it was worth the price.

I purchased the Dyson V12 vacuum around 1.5 years ago, and from the very beginning, it has displayed a filter error and suffered from low suction power, despite the filter being clean. Dyson sent me a replacement filter once, but the problem remained. I even sent the vacuum to service, but it was re...

I’ve been struggling with my Dyson V12 for a while now. The vacuum keeps showing the "filter warning" message, and the suction power keeps decreasing. Even after I received a replacement unit, the same issues quickly resurfaced. It seems like this model has a factory defect. I reached out to custome...

About a year ago, I purchased a Dyson V12 stick vacuum (serial number T8GEURJA9924A) directly from an official Dyson seller. Around three months later, I began experiencing repeated "clean filter" errors, prompting me to contact customer service, who sent a replacement filter. However, the issues ne...
Our Dyson V12 upright vacuum cleaner has had a motor failure for three years. Despite following Dyson's regular cleaning procedures, the vacuum would automatically shut off after 2-3 seconds of operation, and we had to repeat this process 8-10 times to get it to work. When we contacted Dyson custome...
