Dyson Refuses to Sell Small Replacement Part for V10 Vacuum

I purchased my Dyson V10 vacuum on June 21, 2023, and recently experienced a break in the tube locking pin. Although the issue is simply a small plastic pin that broke, I was told that the part is not sold separately and that I would need to purchase the entire tube assembly again.
This situation concerns me both in terms of cost and sustainability. For about a week now, I have been unable to properly attach the tube and clean effectively. When I contacted Dyson, I was informed that I could only buy the complete tube and that this small plastic component is not available on its own.
Being told that the entire tube must be replaced for the sake of a small plastic piece has negatively affected my perception of the brand and my customer experience. I would have expected this plastic pin to be sold separately or to be provided as part of a customer satisfaction solution.
I believe that with a more solution-oriented, sustainable, and customer-focused spare parts policy, simple issues like this could be resolved much more reasonably. I kindly request that my case be reconsidered within this framework.
