On November 12, 2024, I purchased the Dyson Gen5 Detect Absolute in purple and gray from the Mersin Media Markt store. The official Dyson Turkey representative at the store stated that the product came with a complimentary standing unit. Based on this information, I chose to purchase the product from the store for the same price as on Hepsiburada’s Dyson official seller, where it was listed at ₺31,999 with a ₺4,000 discount, to avoid waiting for shipping. After receiving the product and bringing it home, I called Dyson Turkey customer service to register the warranty and claim the complimentary standing unit. However, customer service informed me that they would not send the gift product due to the ₺4,000 discount provided by Media Markt. This condition was never mentioned on Dyson’s official website, in their stores, or through their official sellers. Additionally, the same discount was available on Hepsiburada Dyson’s official seller that day, but I opted for the store to avoid delivery delays. The customer service representative stated in our recorded conversation that had I purchased from Hepsiburada, they would have sent the gift product. Now Dyson is unfairly refusing to provide the gift for the product purchased from Media Markt, despite it being sold at the same price as on Hepsiburada, thus creating consumer dissatisfaction. Furthermore, when I requested proof of this condition during product registration, Dyson failed to provide any documentation. Instead, they gave an unserious response, claiming, “We just received this information today.” As of the purchase date and November 21, 2024, there is still no mention of such a campaign condition on any official seller or platform. If such a condition existed, it should have been clearly stated on official sites and sellers’ pages as “two promotions cannot be combined.” I demand that my rights regarding this product be promptly restored and the issue resolved without delay.
