Duolingo English Test Certificate Denied Due to False Cheating Flag

On March 31, 2026, I took the Duolingo English Test, but my certificate was not approved due to a claim that “another person was present,” even though I did not violate any rules. I completed the exam entirely on my own, in full compliance with the guidelines, and there was absolutely no one else with me during the test.
During the exam, I repeatedly received warnings such as “you are not looking at the screen.” However, I needed to look at my camera preview in the top-right corner to ensure I was properly in frame, and I also had to check the timer in the top-left corner to manage my time. Additionally, while typing, it is natural to glance at the keyboard. Despite these normal behaviors, the system seemed to expect me to stare at a single point without moving my eyes at all, and it interpreted my natural movements as rule violations.
We pay for this exam, yet there is no proper appeal process or accessible support representative to address such issues. My certificate was unfairly denied, I was not given a clear way to appeal, and I have been negatively affected by what appears to be a flawed system judgment rather than any actual misconduct on my part.
I clearly state that I completed the exam alone and in full compliance with all rules, that no one was present with me, and that the warnings I received were due to normal eye movements required by the test interface. I request that my exam be reviewed again, that the decision be reconsidered, and that my certificate be issued accordingly.
