Ducray Melascreen Sunscreen Sold on Amazon With Cut-Off Expiration Date

On June 16, 2026, I purchased Ducray Melascreen 50 ml SPF 50 Anti-Spot Sunscreen via Amazon. Having used this exact product for a long time, I became suspicious when the texture and appearance of the item I received differed from my previous experiences. When I verified the box barcode on the ÜTS (National Product Tracking System), the item appeared authentic according to the registration; however, I noticed that the expiration date on the box had been altered from 2026 to 2028.

When I took the product out of the box, the situation became even more undeniable. I saw that the section of the tube packaging where the expiration date is normally stamped had been physically cut off. On the container I am currently using, the expiration date is present as expected. I am attaching side-by-side comparison photos of both items for reference.

The seller on Amazon approved my return request because it is a dermocosmetic product; however, I find it difficult to believe that such an operation could occur completely outside the knowledge or oversight of the Ducray brand. The physical removal of the expiration date on what appears to be an authentic product, along with the alteration on the outer box, has severely shaken my trust and raised serious health concerns.

I demand that Ducray conduct an investigation into this product using its serial number and manufacturing records, issue an official statement clarifying whether the expiration date was tampered with, and step up inspections and quality controls to prevent similar incidents in the future. Furthermore, I request a formal written explanation to help restore consumer confidence.
