Domino’s Canceled My Order and Failed to Refund My Wallet Balance
On Monday, December 8 at 10:20 a.m., I placed an order through Domino’s Pizza’s official mobile app from the Sakarya Hendek branch using my wallet balance. However, as soon as the order was transmitted to the branch, it was immediately canceled by the branch.
After this, a Domino’s customer service representative called me and stated that my order had been canceled by the branch, that the branch was not answering phone calls, and that they did not know the reason for the cancellation. When I asked about the refund, I was told that yes, my payment would be refunded.
In the FAQ section of the wallet area in the Domino’s app, it clearly states that wallet balance refunds are processed instantly, and that if the refund takes longer than one hour, customers should contact customer service. During this 10-day period, I called Domino’s customer service five times, and almost every time I was told that the refund would be processed within 48 hours. Despite these repeated assurances, the refund has still not been completed.
