DJI Flip Combo Crashed During Flight and Warranty Claim Was Denied Without Proof
I sent my DJI Flip Combo drone to service after it suffered severe damage on June 25 when it crashed due to completely losing control during flight. The device sustained broken parts and cracks on the body. Despite this, the service center rejected the product under warranty by simply stating “user error” without providing a detailed or specific technical explanation.
After this decision, I filed an appeal and requested that the issue be investigated in detail and that the technical reasons behind the decision be provided to me in writing. However, no explanation was given regarding my appeal, and my drone was returned to me as if I had never submitted a request. In addition, I was informed that approximately $443 would be required to repair the drone.
I have been seriously affected both because the product lost control by itself during flight and suffered major damage, and because I was blamed for user error and denied warranty coverage without any technical report or clear justification. I request that DJI repair my device free of charge under warranty or provide a reasonable and transparent solution supported by a detailed technical report explaining the valid reasons for their decision. I also request an official written response regarding my appeal.
