DistroKid Suspended My Account After I Withdrew a Payment Dispute
During my DistroKid membership, several payments were charged from my account without my knowledge or authorization. Because of this, I contacted my bank and filed a payment dispute. Afterward, DistroKid suspended my account, completely blocking my access.
In the notification sent by DistroKid, they clearly stated that if I withdrew the payment dispute, my account would be automatically reactivated once the information reached the payment processor. Based on this statement, I contacted my bank on July 10, 2026, and officially withdrew my dispute.
However, despite doing this, my account has remained closed since July 1, 2026, and I have been unable to access it for approximately one month. Although I have sent multiple emails to the support team, I have not received any response. My account has not been restored, and no explanation has been provided. It feels as though customer support does not exist.
I am not acting in bad faith. I used my legal right to contact my bank because multiple unauthorized payments were taken from my account. Even though I withdrew the dispute with my bank to help resolve the issue, DistroKid has failed to honor its own commitment and has left me completely without support. During this process, I cannot access my music distribution account, and my projects are being seriously affected.
I am reaching out to DistroKid representatives to request a clear explanation as to why my account is still suspended despite withdrawing my legitimate payment dispute on July 10, 2026. I also request responses to my support requests and immediate action to resolve the inconvenience I have experienced.
I want my account to be reactivated as soon as possible and expect a clear, reasonable, and written response. My only expectation is that DistroKid restores my account in accordance with the commitments communicated to me and provides proper customer support.
