CV Maker Charged Me Every Month Without Permission — How to Get a Refund
I purchased a one-time résumé creation service through cvmaker.com and paid about $1 for it. However, starting from August 1, $7 has been withdrawn from my card at the beginning of each month for three consecutive months without my permission or approval. The last withdrawal occurred on November 1.
These transactions were made using my card. When I purchased the service, there was absolutely no notice or warning about starting a membership or subscription; if there had been, I would never have agreed to it. Today, I submitted a complaint through the website, but I have not yet received a response.
Because I did not authorize these transactions, I request a full refund of $21, representing the total amount withdrawn from my card over the past three months.
