Columbia Doesn't Stand Behind the Product

There were tears at the same spots on the folding points of the shoe. We forwarded it to the store where we bought it, and a service form was opened, but the response came back as rejected. They claimed it was user-caused without even providing a proper explanation. We barely used the shoes, and they were only worn under normal conditions. It’s clear that the issue is related to the material or production quality. How could this be considered user-caused? We chose Columbia specifically because of its reputation for durability and quality. So much is paid for this brand, and for a regular walking shoe, this shouldn’t be the outcome. We trusted Columbia, but this experience has made us question that trust.
