I Bought Columbia Shoes and They Ripped in 3 Months

March 28, 2025 12:23 AM30

Hi there! I bought a pair of Columbia shoes, expecting high quality from a premium brand. But in just 3 months, the fabric started tearing at the toe joint area—exactly where my big toe bends. I sent the shoes back for inspection, thinking this would clearly be covered under warranty. Instead, I was told it was “user error.”

Let me be clear: the area that ripped isn’t somewhere you could damage from misuse. This is clearly a manufacturing or material defect. For a brand that charges premium prices, I expected better. Columbia is supposed to stand for durability, but this experience shows otherwise.
